Newsletter Empire

At the risk of sounding cliché, building a newsletter can change your life. At least it has for me.

Before I started Confluence.VC, I was a nobody. I was working a job I didn’t want to be at in a place I didn’t want to be under a boss I didn’t want to learn from.

At the time, I was losing hope and starting to think that that would be my situation forever unless I did something about it. So I did.

Fast forward to today, the newsletter is a business of it’s own that allows me to support myself, it has given me a reason to meet with hundreds of people I have no reason to be in the same room with, and I am now raising a small venture fund on the back of the groundwork created through the newsletter.

With the benefit of hindsight, none of this would be possible without first starting with a newsletter.

At the time of creating this, I have written 650+ newsletters, and I have learned a lot about the newsletter business.

This is a ongoing collection of things I have learned that I wish I would have known sooner.
